This gorgeous 30mm cabochon of Rainbow Labradorite has a brilliant amber flash from almost every angle, enhanced by deep green, red and aqua internal highlights. A handsome and unusual stone, the teardrop-cut and dancing shiller make this pendant extra special. The antiqued brown leather setting is a perfect compliment to the glow of this stone.
Labradorite is said to enhance self esteem in the insecure and to induce and inflame creativity in all. Some tout it as a psychic enhancer and it is often used to guide dreams to a more productive and instructive path.

It hangs on a sterling silver drop-tube which floats freely on a 15" round leather cord (38.10cm) with a 3" (7.62 cm) silver plate extension chain for adjustment up to 18" length (45.72cm). It closes in back with a silver-plate lobster-claw clasp.*

A Note on Care: This pendant is finished with protective products to shield it from the natural moisture and oils of your skin. Casual moisture, such as getting caught in a rain shower, will not damage it. However, the setting IS leather and therefore this piece should not be worn swimming or in the shower. If you forget and the entire pendant gets wet, remove it immediately and HANG it to dry in an airy location away from sun and direct heat.
History of the Earth Medallion: I really like wearing stones and the feel of leather compliments the vibe perfectly. So I've created these. Made from the gifts of our planet, I call them Earth Medallions; stones set in leather. Using special techniques, I prepare and form leather to snugly and securely hold a polished stone cabochon in place. After hand-stitching tightly around the stone and applying protective finishes, I cut a window to reveal the beauty within. Each earthy hand-worked pendant is an artist-marked individual creation and includes a small leather pouch for safekeeping. (pouch color may vary from that pictured)
