Made BEFORE 1910, the lithographed pictures and colors remain insanely vibrant and clear, and feature and feature multiple dogs and cats at play. The round tin is 2 1/2" high and 2 1/4" in diameter.
Rarely do I find a tin this old in such remarkably good condition, and that's because few of them exist anymore. I simply cannot find any paint loss on this bank, and the only mar on it is a slight, slight, slight dent somewhere in a small spot on the middle, which one can only discern through concentrated touch.
This is a true, rare find and a truly rare piece. Absolutely gorgeous! Slot at the top for money, and area on bottom (not pictured) to open bank, and for a key (which I presume went missing around a hundred years ago)!
Fabulous piece to use for its original intent, or display. I use items like this on my desk as mini paperweights, but, truth be told, I just really really enjoy looking at them and marveling at the fact they've been around for over 100 years!
