Have mercy! Late 1950s, early 1960s party dress that will make everyone's heart skip a beat when they see you. Gorgeous cafe au lait sheer chantilly lace layered over both fine net and an opaque nude-colored lining of pebble crepe. The cap sleeves sit on the edges of the shoulders, exposing a lovely expanse of neck and collarbone. Piped, fitted waistline, and an A-line skirt that falls into swirling, feminine folds, beautiful both in motion and at rest.
Designer label is the top-notch Peggy Hunt, and even better? This dress is deadstock and unworn with original cardboard tags still attached. Certainly a Jumblelaya Best-of-the-Best.
Closes up back with hidden zipper and hooks/eyes.
Would make a sublime wedding gown choice for the vintage-loving bride.
All accessories (belts, jewelry, crinolines, pins, etc.) are for style inspiration only unless indicated.
