My items are created with new materials unless otherwise stated antique or vintage.

My items come from a smoke free environment, but, I do have a fat Tuxedo kitty that roams my studio. Sadie Mae does not get on the items she remains on the floor or in her bed.

Her is another of my designs. Please respect that. :)
I wanted to use a darker background color to make the Valentines pop thus I used a nice piece of wool fabric for the front and back. My candle wraps and mats are always double layer. This adds strength to the finished product.

This is approx. 4" X 10 3/4". It will fit most candles.

The wool/felt Hearts, Leaves, and Circles are attached using DMC embroidery floss and the Blanket Stitch and some areas Straight Stitch. I used pink floss for the French Knots down center of leaves and circles.

To add some added depth I used vintage white buttons on the white hearts. By the way, the white used on centers has a sparkle to it.

On one end is 2 narrow brown ribbons and opposite end I attached 2 vintage brown buttons. This is how you attach the wrap to the candle as last photo shows. You simply wrap ribbon around corresponding button. This is a technique I came up with.

If you must wash this I recommend dabbing with a clean damp cloth. If you think you need to wash all over then wash in cold water, mild soap, do not wring. Lay on flat towel to dry. However,
I can not gaurantee how the colors will react to washing.

Enjoy !
Susan
