This handcrafted, fine silver necklace features a Celtic Knot enclosed in a heart. The heart measures approx. 5/8 inch X 5/8 and is hung on a sterling silver ball chain in your choice of 16 or 18 inch. This necklace was created from a mold I made of a favorite button. I am then able to use that mold to create these fine silver pieces. This molding process gives the heart a greater thickness than a stamped piece.

Because each pendant is custom made, each one is unique. These artisan pieces will bear distinctive, rustic features such as variations in fine lines and markings which makes them one of a kind and special.

I love working with PMC (Precious Metal Clay). PMC is Fine silver suspended in an organic binder. In this clay-like state it can be sculpted and stamped into endless designs. When fired at high temperatures the binder burns off, leaving Fine silver (.999FS) much purer than Sterling silver (.925)
