The chalkboard is 15"W x 17"H and made from 3/4" plywood. There is a small shelf near the bottom in to hold your chalk. Mounting holes are routed into back of piece for easy wall hanging.
The plywood gets 2 coats of primer which are sanded to a smooth finish and 6 coats of chalkboard paint to ensure durability.
