This print was created using antique wood type and seafoam blue ink on fluorescent white Crane Lettra, a heavy 100% cotton paper, which measures 8” x 10”. Each piece of type (carved wooden letters) is hand-set on my mid-20th century printing press and inked with a brayer. Then each poster is pulled through the press, one sheet at a time, to create a perfectly imperfect print.
Please note, the frame shown in the photo is NOT included.
Each print varies due to the nature of the letterpress process. Ink impression on the piece you receive may differ slightly from the picture, but each is unique and beautiful.
This piece was printed on my Model B Showcard press. Each poster is signed on the back.
