Hi guys! This is my latest piece and I really like how it turned out! I was inspired by folk art flowers and the colors of antique theorem paintings. This is one of a kind..I could not make another just like it if I tried! The base is vintage wooden clothespins that I covered with text from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I had fun reading as I was glue-ing! There are long and short clothespins in the wreath (3 long, then 1 short) it is an intentional design element. The reverse of the pins are plain. There are a ton of handmade layered flowers and leaves. I made them with vintage map paper, book pages, vintage red toile wallpaper, and scrapbook paper. The centers are vintage mother of pearl buttons and vintage aqua mercury glass beads. This measures 15" across. This has no hanger, it will hang off a nail or push pin in whatever direction you wish. All ready for your wall!
This will be 2-3 lbs to ship. It cannot ship in the same box as another item. West Coast shipping is quoted. If you are closer to me in TN it will be less and I refund any excess of $1 or more. Please ask any questions and check my other items and my vintage Etsy shop, hopeandjoyhome. I also have a blog at www.hopeandjoyhome.blogspot.com..stop in! Thanks for looking and send a friend! Julia
