Driftwood Shelf No. 59

From mosswoodshop

This organically shaped shelf is handcrafted out of driftwood that I found washed up on the shore of Lake Roosevelt in Kettle Falls, Washington.

It is 22" long, 2.5 inches tall and 3.5" deep {with a branch that comes out about 6" from the wall}.

While collecting these pieces, I tried to imagine where they traveled from. I wondered how many years they had been drifting before they settled on the beach where I found them. All of my driftwood pieces are left with their natural finish - created by water, sand and sun.
