This unique and one of a kind case is perfect for your iPad (will fit both iPad and iPad 2) to safely hide in without worry for scratching or dust. I stitched this up with sturdy cotton fabric embellished in my own hand embroidery free stitching and accents. I lined the case with a gorgeous tweedy grey felt (made from recycled plastic bottles) and sewed down velcro fastenings. The sleeve has a softly padded fusible interfacing between the fabric and the felt to increase the overall thickness, but is still soft, lightweight and flexible.
A burst of color and flair stitched with soft grey and yellow pearl cotton embroidery thread make this a very lovely gift or splurge for your own iPad! I just love creating whimsical looks on beautiful fabrics by adding creative stitches to my art, like chain stitch, cable stitch, lazy daisy, french knots, and stem stitches. Please note: back of sleeve is not stitched (see last picture).
