When I saw a picture of Marie Antoinette's well known ship hair decoration, I knew I just had to make one! One of my customers was so thrilled with her ship headpiece she combined her hairstyle with the ship and made her hair the waves.
Please contact me with a color you would like when you purchase and allow for about four - five weeks delivery. This little ships can be adorned with shells, skulls, flowers, lace, ribbon and feathers. I also do wonderful colors; pink, purple, red and I can match to dress fabrics.
SIZE: The actual ship is about 4" long x 3.5" high, but the feathers and flowers make it slightly larger for added drama.
It is screwed securely to a small 2.5" facinator base. These small ones are ideal for all hair styles, clipped amongst hair falls, or clipped to a big 18th Century style wig. Made to the same high quality and care to detail as my larger ships.
I have added a hair comb but please add hair clips to make it really sercure on the dance floor and let me know if you would like an Alice band sewn on.

I have five sizes I make my ships in -
The actual ship is about 4" long x 3.5" high,
or about 4"x5" high,
or about 5" long x 6" high,
or about 6" long x 8" high and then there is a really big one, ideal for carnivals! The flowers and feathers make the item measure much more.
I try to keep them light weight to wear and if you wish, you can request an alice band.
Please allow about three weeks before posting as these items are made to order. I make each ship as one of a kind. I also do wonderful colors; pink, purple, red and I can match to dress fabrics. Please contact me and I will set up a listing for you.
Please note the ships are not always available for me to find so if I have a problem sourcing it I will warn you before you pay. I can also put this onto a brooch pin to go on a hat.
