This simple charm necklace is quite a basic piece to add to your wardrobe. Much like any hard worker he will match many outfits, and add great lengths to what you already wear. He can easily be kept in small spaces, as he has had a lot of practice in gymnastics and body movement. Built out of upcycled 5 1/4” black floppy disk, attached with a jump ring on a silver chain.
Approximately 18” (46 cm) long, charm 1” (3 cm). Lobster claw clasp closing. Can make to any length, put in notes to seller if you want something different.

My family has had computers for decades, getting started doing genealogy. We would keep our records on the old 5 1/4” floppy disks. Even when the ‘standard’ 3 1/2” disk came out we still used the old ones that we had until we absolutely couldn’t have a computer with that sort of drive in it anymore. Consequently we have tons of these old disks just laying around with no use for them anymore. I decided to make some jewelry out of them, and feel in love with the texture they have.
