Primitive Folk Art Mistletoe Gourd Santa - hand sculpted hand painted

A bit of clay here, and a bit of clay there, and pretty soon I see the character of the Santa waiting to come into being. Simple, yet classic, this Santa was created using a gourd. Gourds are perfect armatures for sculpting as they are permanently dry, unless you sink them in a tub and leave them there forever. I am often asked if my Santas will last, so I want to assure you that once a gourd is used in a creative way, it's painted and sealed to last forever. The design on this Santa is my own original. He is also dusted with vintage mica snow. This Santa stands bout 9 inches tall and is signed and dated. Feel free to send any questions my way.
