This is a cool pair of very thin framed antique glasses. They have a case that has a lovely red interior, with old writing on a card for the original buyer. It is dated 9/16/46 and written in pen. It says "The prescription for this pair of Glasses is filed in our office, they can be duplicated if lost or broken." And then written in ink is" Mrs. A.D. Cox" and her address at that time. DRS. E.W. R.N. MILLER Optometrists" is also clearly written.

I am not sure if these were the original glasses for the case, but they definitely look like it, and are just as old or maybe older. The frame is very weak and thin, and the ear pieces are also very fragile. They could possibly still be wearable, but I'm not sure. Please check the measurements before purchasing. Definitely show some age, but are still a very neat pair to have even as a collectable. The glass inside the frame is prescription, and I would talk with a professional if you are interested in possibly changing them for a clear or your own prescription lens. Thanks for looking!
