Just like my solid white night night, this one is made from a lasercut acrylic heart with "LOVE YOU" spelled out in my hand-made font. The acrylic for this light has ephemeral properties, it seems to glow magenta, orange and pink all at once.
I work with a family owned supplier in Chicago to purchase the acrylic I use for my lights, and they have been incredibly helpful in allowing me to return my acrylic scrap to them for recycling. For this special edition color, we worked together to produce a frosted neon material that had the properties I was looking for.
The hearts are lasercut and assembled by me in my studio. I also screen print each box and designed the packaging to be "gift ready" with minimal waste produced.
The night light features a light-sensitive base, meaning this light will come on in the dark when left plugged in. A 4 watt bulb is included.
Please note-- the third photo shows the two night light designs with the plugs turned to the side. This is also how the lights sit in the packaging. To plug into an outlet the light base swivels to the back.
The acrylic heart measures about 4 x 5.5 inches.
