This is a special hard- covered journal. I call it the "dragon-hide journal", because its unique texture ressembles real skin. I have used dyed bandages, to achieve this feeling, that are kept together by wire stitching. It has a lot of texture by itself and the copper embelishments complement it.

The main color is olive green with shades of golden and turqoise.

It is bound with the external stitching method

The inside covers are made using Tim Holtz's Kraft glassine paper which is hand stamped in brown - ivory colors.

I have used many layers of ecological varnishes to protect the artwork and make it sturdy for many many years to come.

The journal is 15.5 x 11 cm (6,1 x 4.3 inches) and features 80 unlined pages (counting both sides). The paper is white Windsor & Newton watercolor 190gr, suitable for all mediums . All the pages are distressed.

It is a special book and makes a special gift. It is perfect for watercolor artists, writers, poets etc, to be kept as a journal, a diary, a notebook, a sketchbook , or for someone who wants to have a book with personnality. Its size makes it a perfect to be kept in a handbag.

I will pack your item very carefully and send it to you by registered mail.
