A really rather special 40cm square handmade zipper cushion featuring an original Butterscotch & Beesting print with a lovely duck-feather pad inside too (nothing but the best for you!).
This cushion is called "Heidi LaLarge and the Flying Elephants". The background print I designed is inspired by an Art Deco pattern by Marion Dorn called Avis from 1939, which is in the V&A Collection in London. Unlike Marion's original, however, my pattern features flying elephants rather than doves. Possibly not quite as traditional but equally elegant - just like the exquisite Heidi herself.
It's one of a limited edition range of luxurious handmade linen cushions featuring Butterscotch & Beesting designs.
The fabric is digitally printed on a beautiful linen/cotton union, and the back is a complementary panel of natural linen.
The cushion cover measures approximately 40cm x 40cm (16" x 16" square).
