The oversized flower brooch is made of a thick yet surprisingly lightweight pure wool yarn. I chose the most perfect shade of palest pink for this particular piece. I have sewn a very old mother-of-pearl button into the center of this dramatic posy. You can add your own touch of style by threading a wide ribbon, silk scarf or strip of lace through the brooch fastener in the back: instant necklace or belt/sash.
This item would also make a wonderful gift.
