The pendant part itself is 3 pieces combined as one using recycled/old jewelry pieces.
The heart part of the pendant is the locket, which opens and closes without a problem.
Measuring the necklace completely:
TOP to BOTTOM of last chain: about 14.5"
TOP to BOTTOM without the pendant: about 8.5"
Because of this using various pieces from other pieces of jewelry, this piece can't be duplicated and is a unique one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone!
