Notice: The first 3 photos are the Stone Flower for sale. I photographed them on a concrete sidewalk to show the thickness and texture clearly. The remaining pictures are other examples of my work.
This STONE FLOWER is one of a kind, hand- chipped from Ohio Sandstone. This sculpture is 14" across and 21/4" thick. It weighs 15lbs.
I hand chip each piece of stone and when arranged into the flower, becomes a personal garden feature. The natural color of the stone is grey but can assume a patina as time goes on.
I make many different flower styles and sizes. This STONE FLOWER is one that I would consider small. Medium size would be appx. 15-18 inches and even larger, up to 24" or more.
Installation is simple. By following the diagram I include, there will be no problems.
Pick a spot..level the spot and arrange the pieces according to the diagram. You can't go wrong!
If you can plant a flower, you can plant a Stone Flower!
The sculptures I make can be incorporated into a gravel path, paverstone patio or even concrete.
This flower is one that will last many years and never require one drop of water. It thrives in sun and shade and wet or dry conditions!
I make many different sculptures: from flowers, dragonflies kokopelli, 'rock' guitars, Koi fish, spiders, scorpions, shamrocks and more. Each piece is hand made by me and no two sculptures are identical.
If you're looking for something unique and special this is it! Stone Flowers make a perfect gift.
Shipping is easy and affordable thanks to the USPS. This sculpture will fit into a one price shipping box regardless of weight... with room for another. The shipping will be $15.00 within the lower 48 states. I bundle and tape the box to make sure it gets to you intact. For shipping out of the USA I would need to confirm the cost at the time.
