Toy sewing machines are fun to display in a craft room, studio, or little girl's room. I think this one is super sweet, especially because of its pretty blue color and charming floral decal embellishments.
In the instruction manual that came with another Sew Master machine in my personal collection, these useful toys were touted as "a durable precision built single thread chain stitch children's sewing machine. It is simple and safe to operate and can be used to repair dolly's wardrobe as well as other minor repairs on regular clothing and various household articles."
Manually operated by turning the blue wooden handle, I have not attempted to stitch with this machine, but the handle rotates smoothly and I see no missing mechanical parts. The tension assembly is complete and it has a needle. This machine is in excellent condition for its age with some wear. There is paint loss at the bottom edge, minor rust, and wear to the Sew Master logo and floral decals.
This adorable relic measures 8 inches long, 4.5 inches wide and 7.25 inches high. Included is the tiny spool of thread shown. Please note that the three large spools of thread in photo #1 are props and are not included.
