I LOVE things with a past history which is why I fell in love with vintage saris. All Sari scarves are made from up-cycled and vintage materials - each piece is unique, with it's own special history and charm. Some fabrics are up to 100 years old. Slight imperfections and signs of wear from a past life are normal and I believe they add to the beauty and authenticity of the scarf
There is a faint pale blue in the fabric, not sure if it's intentional but it blends in nicely. There is a small light pink spot on the border - from its past life. I have washed and soaked this scarf several times :)
**some scarves are serged on both sides and some have the beautiful finished selvedge edge - will not fray
