My grandmother, Ruby Nickens (later Ruby Knox), was born just outside of Richmond, Virgina on December 23, 1923. She lived and worked in Washington, DC at the Pentagon during WWII as a photo developer and later at the US Government Printing Office. She was an avid Polaroid photography hobbyist after the Polaroid Land Camera was released in 1947. Ruby passed away on August 27, 2010. She was 87 years old. She loved collecting things her whole life and one of her passions was jewelry. This piece is from her costume jewelry estate.
This coin bracelet is ideal for everyday wear. This bracelet has 3 charms. There are two charms that say "Napoleon Empereur" and one in the middle that says "NV Balboa". The gold plating on the chain is in fair vintage condition as there are a few signs of wear. There are no missing charms and no chips in the plating on the coins.
