Vanilla Bean Cloche PDF Pattern

The Vanilla Bean pattern is a vintage style lace cloche that looks intricate, but it actually incredibly simple to knit. Shaped only by yarn overs and knit-two-togethers, the cloche is knit top down in a spiral pattern that continues through the body and is finished with a pretty scalloped edging. Knit in a breathable cotton, the Vanilla Bean is not only incredibly soft, but has the right amount of stretch to it--lasting through children’s many growing seasons. This cloche is perfect transition hat from winter to spring.

-Yarn Suggested: fingering weight cotton such as Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino or Knit PIcks Simply Cottton Sport.
-Yarn weight: Fingering / 4 ply (14 wpi)
-Gauge: 6 stitches and 9 rows = 1 inch in stockinette stitch
-Needle size: US 4 - 3.5 mm
-Yardage: 90 - 150 yards (82 - 137 m)
-Sizes available: 3-6 months, (12-18 months, 2T-5T)
