4.25" x 4.25" square. Each tile is backed with black foam so the coasters can be placed on a multitude of surfaces. Image is sealed with resin and has a nice shine and protection. Each coaster is handmade so there are slight variations and imperfections. The Glass tile has a brown backing underneath the artwork. Because the coaster is covered in resin I do not recommend using as a hot plate or for candles because of the heat. however I use them at home all the time for drinks and just as an attention piece for coffee tables.
