made of soft green faux fur, molded and shaped

and large sproingy rhinestone paste trembler flower
this style was meant to be worn at a tilt towards the front of the head with the elastic band tucked under the back of the hair to hold it in place. Traditionally these were worn tilted to the right, but because of my mannequin's molded hair, I had to show it tilted to the left in the last picture. This does also look quite nice worn on the back of the crown, like a 1950's style cocktail hat ~
label: Shirby's Greenville S.C.
circa: 1930's (possibly early 40s...Shirby's changed their name to "Shirby Vogue" in the mid 40s, so this hat definitely pre-dates that)
size: 9" x 7" in diameter, stands approx. 5" tall, and measures 20" around the inside band
condition: there are no stains or obvious wear, hat may need minor re-shaping, 'fur' is still nice and soft. Two small stones are missing on the base of the flower, but this is mostly hidden by the larger spring-mounted flower above it. so all in all, it's in excellent condition!
