Body is wet-felted in cupcake-pink wool. It measures 5" in diameter and 5.5" in height and is perfectly round at the bottom. Trimmed with crocheted wool yarn in antique pinks, muted browns, and creamy creams; cotton crochet edging for a bit of gloss; coordinating beaded tassel; matching detachable pompom pin; and magnetic closure.

How it was made: Body of purse was entirely handmade by way of two felting stages. I first needle-felted layers of Corriedale wool fiber around a form, then wet-felted the body. Once shaped and dried, I cut the form free, crocheted the trim, and added the tassel, pompom brooch, and clasp.
