I created this vessel before I hit upon the idea of using a coarser mesh. It is made from #8 steel wire mesh, the same material I use for my figures. This vessel is, more than anything, an experiment in creating form-within-form, the way the original cylinder shape undulates and turns under, creating juxtapositions of form and translucency.
Approx. 16"H x5"Diameter
This work is a wonderful addition as a table centerpiece, alone on a pedestal, or hung from monofilament, casting its amazing shadows on walls nearby as it slowly turns.
Please leave me a note is buyers notes at checkout if you are planning to hang it and I will include the supplies to do so. Please let me know the aprox. length needed in your space.
