Several years ago, I had to go to New Orleans for work (this was a billion years ago when I was employed/employable) and I swear I spent the entire time there eating (on the company dime - can I get a Hell Yeah for per diem?) - the food was spectacular, I didn't have a bad bite the whole time. It was the first time I ever had the opportunity to try crayfish - holy shit they are delicious. I didn't do the thing where you crack them with your bare hands and suck out their brains because I'm way too much of a wuss for that, but one night we went out for dinner at some place in the Garden District and I got some buttery, creamy crayfish dish. Since then, I've been a fan (not that I have many opportunities to have them)
Here is a cute little crayfish, hand-stitched in burgundy brown thread with glass bead eyes and "that shit cray" hand-stitched in black, 120 point Savoye LET font on light purple fabric with a vintage-y looking flower pattern. It's in a 8" embroidery hoop and ready to go up on your wall.
