This cake topper will not be damaged by contact with water and can be washed, carefully, with a gentle dish soap if necessary. I use a premium synthetic modeling compound that is non-toxic and made in the U.S.A. Polymer figurines are remarkably sturdy and won't shatter, but delicate details can break upon impact and should be handled with care.
