I chose to create a fine silver bezel for this necklace, which is open at the back. I gave the bezel a glittery pinbrushed texture. The back of the necklace is open, exposing the quartz. This part has a very finely surfaced texture, while the front has terminations which jut out boldly.
The pendant hangs from a heavy sterling silver chain, which closes with a hand-forged hook and eye. The specimen, hook, and eye are all wired in with sterling silver wire, which has been accented by small, faceted labradorite rounds.
The pendant is approximately 5 x 3 cm, and is around 2.5cm high at the tallest termination. So, around 2 x 1 1/4 x 1". The chain is around 20" long, but can be shortened upon request.
Shipping: includes a tracking number from Vancouver, Canada. $100 of insurance is included- if you wish to have this ring full-insured, please get in touch for the cost of an insurance upgrade. This shipping method takes 4-10 business days to the USA, and two weeks or more internationally.
If you live outside of Canada and the USA and wish to have the necklace sent (at your own risk) without a tracking number, the shipping is $9.50. Please let me know if you would like the shipping adjusted. International tracking is horribly expensive from Canada, unfortunately.
