I made this Faberge style Egg beaded bead pendant for the Etsy Beadweavers February Team Challenge. The theme of this Challenge is "Nest". When I saw the theme I immediately thought of my husband's beautiful wildlife friendly garden. Our yard in North Florida plays host to a fabulous variety of birds, some of whom choose to build their nests with us each Spring. But, being an artist, my thoughts continued on in my own flight of fantasy to a Glorious Bird of my imagination and the egg it might grace our garden with.

Here are the details of my Glorious Egg Beaded Bead Pendant:

Beaded Bead itself is 25mm or 1 inch long by 20mm at the base. It is Peyote stitched one bead at a time with Czech and Japanese glass seed beads over a wooden armature. The holes are grommeted with gold plated eyelets. The egg is mounted on a gold vermeil changeable pendant finding accented with gold vermeil beads. The pendant finding is a Bead Bale by Bronwen Heilman http://www.etsy.com/shop/bronwenheilman . The chain and the egg stand shown in the picture are not included. If you would like to purchase the stand for an additional $20 to display your Glorious Egg when you're not wearing it please convo me and I will post a Reserved Listing for you.
