Red Lampwork Focal Bead SALE Red Lampwork Focal Bead SALE
One lampwork borosilicate glass focal bead torched by Richard Ronsick. This bead measures 30mm x 20mm. With the attached metal ends, the finished hole size is 3/32", or just over 2mm. The ends of this bead are black colored, rather than the silver colored ones I use on most of my beads. Thanks for looking!

note: All my beads were designed primarily to be used on "wire-strung" jewelry. All beads are photographed on a steel mandrel. The horizontal rod protruding from the holes in the bead is that mandrel, and not part of the bead. The "attached ends" referenced in the listing are, basically, eyelets. Their purpose is twofold. Although I still use bead caps on any wire-strung jewelry, which easily fit over the "eyelets", and hide them, they give a more "finished" appearance to the bead when used on cord, or someplace that bead caps aren't desired.(Also when using filligree bead caps, where you can see the bead hole through the caps.) By the way, these fit on any cord 2mm or smaller. The second reason they're there is that, when they are used on wire, the diameter of the hole is (at least slightly) reduced so as to not be quite as loose a fit.
