The internet is a wondrous place. The other day I was browsing Twitter for interesting lamp designs and ran across the Colgao lamp from enPieza! studio in Madrid, Spain. I found their use of a chromed light bulb in an anthropomorphic manner to be intriguing and I knew I had to do something like that myself. Thus this guy was born after some experimenting and trying different ideas out.
The wood manikin is fully poseable and mounted on an aluminum post that contains all the wiring. Move the arms and legs to any pose you wish.
The lamp can take any candelabra (E12) based bulb up to 30W. Try different bulbs to give the lamp a different look to find the one you like. The lamp cord is 5 feet long and includes an on/off switch.
One chromed 25W G16.5 candelabra bulb is included. Spare bulbs are available in my store or at Amazon.com.
One 1/6 scale iPad is included, along with a dab of sticky tack to hold it in place.
This is a 1/6 sized figure, and can use doll accessories for that same scale like Barbie doll, GI Joe, Ultimate Soldier, etc. Do an etsy or ebay search for 1/6 scale accessories and you will be amazed at the quantity of stuff available. One of these days I'm going to get one of the better looking scale guitars and see how that looks.
Lamp size:
13" tall with the G16.5 bulb.
The base is 4" x 4", but with the manikins arms fully posable, it can take up to 8" x 8" or so side to side.
Ships via Priority Mail Flat Rate Box in the US, first class mail internationally
