This picturesque "poured" gold frame features a cut-work border design in English Ivy vines. I added to this vintage frame several pieces of ANTIQUE costume jewelry. Featured in the upper left-hand corner and the lower right-hand corner are two "former" clip earrings from the 1940s known as Milk Glass. They sparkle with the adornment of 1 large, white crystal Rhinestone and 2 small groupings of seed Pearls that form tiny flowers.
In both the upper right-hand and lower left-hand corners are two "former" clip earrings, also from the 1940s, known as Thermoset. These were produced by the Lisner Jewelry Company (now a very highly collectible name in costume jewelry). They feature 1 large and 3 smaller flowers, all of whose centers are white crystal Rhinestones. The added touch are small gold foil leaves.
In the top center of the frame, another 1940s "former" clip earring, this one produced by the Coro Jewelry Company (another highly collectible name in costume jewelry). It features 6 small white Thermoset flowers, each with a white crystal Rhinestone center, that are grouped together to "form" one larger flower design.
The final four pieces (left and right side of frame) were also "former" clip earrings. The center bottom left and center top right pieces, which date to the 1930s, feature flower petals formed from Mother-of-Pearl. They fan-out in a top and bottom array. The one on the left side, missing a piece of its lower array, was compensated by a smaller Coro piece that matches the top center piece. The center top left piece, a 1950s 1/20 gold-filled piece, features 3 leaves & 1 ceramic white Rose. The center bottom right piece is another single Coro Thermoset flower earring piece.
This vintage frame measures 7.75 inches wide x 9.5 inches tall and will hold a 5x7 photo (photo in picture is for illustration only). The pieces feature a white floral motif perfect to showcase Wedding Photos.
