These natural stone travertine tiles (measuring 4 x 4) have been hand stamped and painted in a football player design with the words "Football" and "foot-ball-noun" in black underneath the design. I used silver and blue paint for the highlights BUT you can request different colors to match the team colors you would rather use. Add your own personalization at the top, like the team name, or a person's name..whatever you would like.

Design process:
These are travertine tiles from Turkey. I like to use this specific type of travertine tile (ravini beige) because of their smooth texture with only minimal cracks and dents (mainly around the edges). They are strong and sturdy tiles that will last a lifetime. I hand stamp and hand paint each design. I bake the tiles in the oven to heat set in the design so the design can get wet but not smudge. I don't use any kind of chemical sealer because I want these tile coasters to be absorbent. I hand stamp the bottom with my name and add felt pads.
I do keep an inventory of my designs on hand, but many are made to order at the time you order. The photo seen in the listing is a representation of the final product. I paint the designs the same (as close as possible) and tiles do vary with their cracks and dents.

*these coasters are absorbent, the design is heat set in so the painted design will not smudge when wet will absorb moisture from your glass or cup.
*Each tile has 4 felt pads on the bottom so they will not scratch table top finishes.
*there will be some tiles with natural cracks and chips (mainly around the edges) but not enough to affect them being used as sturdy coasters.
*These coasters are not dishwasher safe and can be cleaned with a damp towel.
