Measurements: 15" long with the center drop adding another 1 ¼”
Condition: Very Good, the crystals (each measuring 8mm x 8mm) are all present and tight in their settings. There is one stone, next to the clasp that has a corner chip. Not overtly noticeable, but present and mentioned for accuracy. The balance of the stones are clean, crisply cut and full of fire and reflectivity. The sterling frame & findings match perfectly. None of the rings appear to be bent out of shape which might indicate a replacement. The sterling silver has developed a dark, glowing patina, but can be polished up to a mirror shine if you desire (tested on the back of one element). The necklace is completely free of damage or verdigris. The necklace fastens with a secure thumb ring clasp.
Markings: STERLING, on clasp
Period/Circa: Art Deco, 1920
Because of the superior refraction of rock crystal, these stones will reflect whatever color they accessorize...creating a versatile "wear with anything" piece. This is an incredible opportunity for the collector of fine Art Deco jewelry and would make the perfect necklace for a bridal ensemble or stunning prom necklace..
