When folded, measures 17 x 14. Spread out, 28 X 17. poster stock paper, with red and black lettering, and black and white photographs of 7 breeds of cattle, and a midwest farm.
East Lansing is the home of Michigan State University, sometimes known as "Cow U" because of its history as an agricultural college.
This would be great for the vintage loving farmer, MSU ag degree graduate, farm animal vet, or cow lover. Great gift for a cattle breeder who was born in 1961.
Large cursive lettering on front and top says Quality Breeding at its Best. 1961 "I prefer these bulls". Michigan Artificial Breeders Cooperative East Lansing, Michigan.
The rest of the copy includes directions for raising and breeding cattle, a time line for the steps, and photos and line drawings. Unfolded, the top half has a 1961 breeding calendar with gestation explanation. There is a chart to keep track of up to 50 cows and their vaccination and breeding records.
This is in good vintage condition. Some edge and corner roughness. Unused for original purpose.
No smoker, pet, musty odor (These are vintage items, though, so they are at least 20 years old. I will specify, if there is a noticeable musty odor.)
