Shabby cotton sweater upcycled with vintage crocheted doilies and lace. This cotton crocheted sweater is SO soft and drapes with a loose stretch. This rarely seen cornflower blue cotton yarn thread has a quaint vintage feel. Two vintage cotton crocheted doilies add more charm. Embellished with small handmade crocheted roses, beads and tiny ribbon roses. Softly gathered lace fabric drapes at the hem. Two pearl tone buttons complete the look.
So dainty and very feminine!
NOTE: This is an upcycled, altered couture project of a gently worn cotton crocheted sweater, vintage crocheted doilies and vintage lace fabric. All pieces are old and so very soft. A softness that only comes from many years of love. The sweater does show gentle signs of its age, yet still very lovely.
