1960's Syroco Wood Wall Hangings - Brilliant Botanicals

Pretty pair of vintage c.1960’s Syroco Wood botanical wall hangings. These great wood wall hangings have fantastic Hollywood regency styling. The wall hangings are elongated triangle shapes and each one features a different floral design. One of the triangles features chrysanthemums and the other one features holly leaves and berries. These plaques are painted in in antique brass/ dull gold color. Each wall hanging measures 16 ½” tall x 9 ¾” across. Both of the wall hangings are marked on the back with labels “Syracuse Ornamental Co. Inc., Syroco Wood, Syracuse NY, Made in USA, Copyright”. On the back of the plaque with the chrysanthemum decoration, there is also a faint stamped maker’s mark. These wall hangings are in very good vintage condition. There are no cracks in the wood. There are a few small light dents on throughout the surfaces of both pieces but no major chips. (please convo me if you would like to see additional detail photos) There is very light wear to the painted surface but no chipping or flaking. Keep up with the Drapers, with these fantastic Midcentury wall hangings. They are similar to the ones that hang over the bed in Don and Betty Draper’s bedroom in the Mad Men series!
