It's a well known fact that everyone looks better in the dim, smoke-filled light of the bar. The surliest old drunk looks like someone you might actually want to have a conversation with; the prowling cougar looks less like she's old enough to be your mom; and the bartender's friendly chit chat makes you hope she asks you to stay after closing to "help change a keg" (she's just being nice cause you're tipping her $5 per drink). Just like Bar Lighting improves the appearance (and chances) of every type of barfly, so do these handmade light switch plates improve the look of any room in the house.
Each one is made from recycled packaging and secondhand switch plates**; a homemade, eco-friendly decoupage mix; and a few layers of protective varnish. Because the switch plates are secondhand, no hardware is included (ie: screws).
**All secondhand switchplates were purchased from a local recycled building supply store that raises money for Habitat for Humanity. Not only is your purchase eco-friendly by keeping reusable materials out of landfills, it also benefits homeless and needy families in the community!
