Estate sale find: this amazing Pucci esque velvet print gown from the 60s or early 70s. This is a great gown for holiday parties, a holiday wedding, or special event. The colors are in the Pucci spectrum--teal, turquoise, mauve, pink, kelly green, moss green, and black, and the print is psychedelic. The empire waist allows for a graceful silhouette and a full pleated skirt fr drama and movement. The fabric is slinky and fluid and drapes gorgeously. There are long sleeves and a turtleneck collar that can be worn up or loose with the flaps splayed on the back side (there are 3 clasps on the back of the neck). It looks like a dressmaker-made dress with skilled cutting and sewing and draping, as there are no labels. I bought it from an estate where most of the clothing was custom made for a size 4 woman. The velvet is a panne velvet--shiny and silky--and I'm not sure if it's a silk velvet or a cotton velvet. In any event it's a major head-turner. IT is unlined and has a zipper up the back. I am going to call this a size 4/6, but check my measurements below for a proper fit. My mannequin is a 34 bust and the bust is a little tight on her.

32" bust
28" waist (measured at gathered waistline)
64" hips fully stretched--the hips can be any hip measurement)
56" back of neckline to hemline rear
15" across back measured arm pit seam to opposite
14-1/2" shoulder width, seam to seam
22-3/4" sleeve length (outer)
17-1/2" sleeve inseam
* zipper down the back side
* there is an existing 2" hem taken up

Condition: near excellent vintage condition with one pinhole at the seam on the left shoulder and a tiny hole on the left wrist area (perhaps from a bracelet). There is one tiny area of what looks like discoloration but may be part of the fabric design. It doesn't look like a stain, just an imperfection in the color. There is one tiny loose seam area in the gathered waistline, but that's an easy mend. Other than that it's got no staining, marks, or blemishes. It's got general wear for its age but I feel this dress was maybe worn once.

About me: On the whole I’m an easy to approach seller, and if you love something but can’t afford it and wish I would discount it for you I probably will. That said, I do frown on low ball offers for items that are clearly well-priced, so don’t go there--my pricing is, I find, super cheap in comparison to like items in other shops. I shop carefully and select each item I plan to sell, and take great care in how each item compliments other items in my shop. I only list things I feel are of a high quality. There’s no junk here. And if there are dresses that I know are cool but need work or have some damage I will dutifully detail that in the listing. I come across amazing Chanel and Dior dresses that often have damage, moth holes, or need work, and I know there is someone out there with a mending kit and some moxie that wants them. That said, most of what I like to sell is in ready to go condition.

Shipping: I can ship worldwide (though not everywhere) so convo me for inquiries about countries not listed. As a rule I try to ship Priority Mail when possible to insure that shipments arrive safely and have some sort of trafficking number. I can ship any way you like, though. For international shipments I can send via USPS International First Class depending on the weight of the package, and that is usually a less expensive route. When I am in town I generally ship same day as purchase or within 2 or 3 days. If I am out of town for extended periods of time I put my shop on hold, so if it’s up online I’m probably in town.
