Large Antique Primitive Butter, Cookie, Springerle Mold Wood Press Rectangle RESERVED LISTING

Primitive turn of the century butter mold, made of wood and metal. Features 8 blocks mounted individually on long rods set into one block. Mold pattern appears to be initials, difficult to make out, possibly llc or LEC? The middle comes apart from the frame, as seen in the photos.

Condition: There are two condition issues. One of the blocks is broken near the top, can be glued. I'm leaving this up to the buyer, right now a piece of tap is holding the broken piece in place.

The second issue is part of the side of the blocks mounted to the board is missing along one side.

The butter mold measures: 11" high by 5 3/4" across and 2 1/2" deep.
