The unique heavy cream textured stock is 80 lbs., 100% recycled made with post-consumer waste content. Tiny flecks and grains are embedded in this retro stock once used by Hallmark greeting cards in the 50’s. The stock is the first recycled paper with flecks made in the U.S. Each print is signed and includes a complimentary bio of the artist, Karen Jean Young.
The concept of this drawing was to create a soft side of New York with the use of soft colors mixed with bright hues. This illustration is a spring scene with silhouettes of New Yorkers relaxing on a cool clear day in Central Park. The stylized bridge is the focal point that brings the composition together.
