An antiqued old vintage skeleton key, with an heirloom past and story and steampunk style, pairs with a hammered, oxidized, rustic, antiqued copper pendant, hand cut, sanded and buffed, and hand-stamped, one letter at a time, in an ARTSY FONT with this beautiful phrase.."CHANCE MADE US SISTERS HEARTS MADE US FRIENDS"... wonderful for Mother's Day, birthdays, or just because she is special. Two sterling silver forged and soldered hearts are linked together and dangle from the key chain. The skeleton key & pendant are attached to sterling jumprings which connect to the key ring.
The key chain is sturdy and secure and soldered with only LEAD-FREE solder. The jumprings I use in my designs are all handforged sterling silver, soldered and sturdy.
The size of the key is approx. 1.5 inches. It looks as though it was from a victorian jewelry box. So old world and charming. The key may be slightly different from the one pictured but the same size.
This designs meets vintage charm and rustic chic. I have given it my signature rustic edge with texture, hammering, and natural oxidized patina. It is a modern version of skeleton key jewlery, hip & fresh.
