The pocket for this cover measures about 14" x 10". I think this will be a perfect fit for your 13" macbook pro.
It is lined with heavy natural canvas and padded with high loft batting for extra protection. I used a heavy magnetic snap as a closure. The magnetic snap is backed with pieces of leather in between the layers so no magnetic field goes through.
