Sparkling rounds of faceted soft yellow citrine and little rondelles of faceted yellow-orange citrine mix it up with and 22kt gold vermeil daisy spacers and black onyx rounds and a beautiful layered yellow and black citrine-onyx geode heart shaped pendant! The back side of the pendant does have a crack and a chip as seen in the third photo but this does not distract from the beauty of the pendant from the front view.
The necklace is approximate 18 inches in length and the pendant drops about 2 inches down. The overall dimensions of just the pendant are approximately 1-3/4"x1-3/4" x1/3 inches. The findings are all 12kt gold filled or 22kt gold vermeil and it is finished with an easy Gold filled Balloon clasp.

About the components of this piece:
Citrine~ Citrine is the golden yellow form of quartz which takes its name from "citron," the French word for lemon. Citrine is one of the more prized members of the Quartz family, but is more specifically a type of oxide and gets its yellow color from iron contaminants. Usually the darker the yellow color of citrine the more valuable it is considered. It has also substituted for the more expensive gem Topaz and has been offered by the names "Citrine Topaz," "Brazilian Topaz" and "Madeira topaz." In historic times, Citrine was considered to be an object that gave the bearer supernatural or protective powers. Naturally occurring citrine is very rare and most of the citrine on the market today is heated Amethyst. However, some believe that Citrine started out as Amethyst, which was then naturally heated by neighboring magmatic rocks to change color to Citrine. Like other quartz-based gemstones, Citrine is piezoelectric. When a piezoelectric stone is heated, compressed or vibrated, it polarizes its electrical charge and vibrates. Citrine's metaphysical properties are said to aid in directing creative energy and enhancing self-esteem.
Onyx~ Black Onyx is a black, opaque variety of quartz. Metaphysical properties: Onyx is a protective stone that assists in preventing personal energy drain, and helps to ground and eliminate unwanted energies.
Gold filled~ A plating by soldering, welding or other mechanical means of gold alloy of not less than 10 karat fineness over sterling silver, when the plating constitutes at least 1/20th of the weight of the metal in the entire article. Electroplating is not part of the process.
