Convo me if you want this particular pair made into wearable earrings for you like you see in this listing:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/76730667/porcelain-clay-twirl-earring-in-fern
The additional cost to make these wearable is:
$18 for non-tarnising base metal
$23 for sterling (please let me know if you want it bright or oxidized)
These clay twirls start out as small clay balls that I roll in-between two wooden textured blocks. You can see a tutorial on my blog on the actual process:

My porcelain and chocolate clay is fired to 2232F so it makes for a more durable product. Now mind you I did not say indestructible... They can break, so be "smart" when creating with them. Treat them as you would if they were a glass bead (a glaze is glass by the way). I use soft or dead soft wire when wire wrapping them.
This particular porcelain clay set has undergone additional steps to etch the glossy surface away to reveal a rich satin matte underneath tones.
