A rare release from the limited-runs of Vera Neumann couture!
Vera Neumann is one of the 20th century's most important painters and designers. Since her departure from this world, her work grows more rare and precious with each day.
Vera painted this amazing optical art design in the tradition of Japanese Sumi-e painting - less is more. Each brush stroke is brief and filled with intention. One of Vera's favorite brushes was a Japanese badger hair brush made just for Sumi-e style painting.
The illusion of gold webs seems to pulse over Mandarin red cotton. Detailed lines at the banded collar and sleeve cuffs add visual interest. The original designed top zippers in the back.
Perfect for funky city girls who can rock the vintage style, busy moms who want it for an apron, or pregnant women looking for stylish maternity wear!
No tag. But I have sold this piece once before in black and the label reads "Vera. All Cotton. Drip Dry.". The size is about a 6-8 in today's ratings.
