Upcycled vintage hardcover book.
Unlined bright white 70 lb text weight paper.
Several feet of hand-dyed linen bookbinding thread.
I removed the cover from the original book and re-covered the inside with luscious light green Lokta paper. The pages are hand-cut with rounded corners, and bound snugly in a long-stitch style to allow the star stitching pattern to be visible on the spine of the book. I used linen bookbinding thread hand-dyed with roasted grains to maintain the vintage feel and look. The cover is green with gold lettering.
